He said that the seizure of the donkey skin and meat was among the 17 smuggled items intercepted by the command between April 15 and May 15.
He noted that two members of a syndicate who specialised in forging Customs documents to smuggle vehicles from the Benin Republic into Nigeria were arrested.
He said that once the first requirement was met, the list of vehicles would be sent to court for condemnation.
“There is no hiding place for anyone who engaged in illegal or smuggling activities in Idiroko axis and its environs,” said the Nigeria Customs Service.
