The Joint Task Force South East Operation UDO KA has reclaimed the Orsu LGA of Imo from bandits and urged the indigenes to return home.
The GOC eulogised the officers for competing favourably.
According to him, two security agents, not soldiers, were killed in action.
He, therefore, called on the residents to go about their legitimate businesses as their lives and property would be protected at all costs.
“We remain resolute in winning all land, air and maritime battles especially in the area of operation, the southeast.”

The army said it was working to curb the rise in the spate of crime and criminality within the Owerri Metropolis.

The exercise will be conducted from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily between September 5 and 7.
The army said the gunmen were killed while trying to enforce IPOB’s sit-at-home order by shooting sporadically.
The police in Anambra says it was still monitoring the development.
