Mr Oladiji said that amendments to the law that created the university would bring more value to the institution.
The governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to completing ongoing projects in the state.
The speaker, who described Mr Aiyedatiwa’s victory as a testament to the people’s love for the governor, also commended the security agencies for their conduct.
He said, “The supplementary budget is necessary because of the time we are in and trends of what is happening in the state and country in general.’’
Mr Oladiji said that Nigeria needed leaders with vision and foresight to overcome its challenges.
He added that the state’s lawmakers were in support of the party’s leadership.
Mrs Akeredolu described her late husband’s niece as “shameless” for supporting Mr Ayedatiwa, who is eyeing the APC ticket for the November 16 guber election.
The nominees were screened and confirmed on February 6, but Ms Isaac, the sixth commissioner nominee, was unavailable for the exercise.
The House majority leader, Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi, said miners should also register with the state government.
The Ondo House of Assembly has confirmed Olayide Adelami as the new deputy governor.
