The assembly had jerked up the bill by over 10 billion naira.
The Ondo State House of Assembly had served Mr Aiyedatiwa notice of impeachment over allegations of gross misconduct.
He, therefore, solicited the support of the assembly in fast-tracking the command’s operational facilities in enhancing its capacity.
The Speaker, Olamide Oladiji, said the letter of notice was received on behalf of Mr Aiyedatiwa by his chief protocol officer.
“We got an affidavit from the court through substituted service, so he has been served through his office. It was received by his secretary,” he said.
Mr Oladiji, however, explained that he had reported the threat to his life to security agencies in the state.
The process was initiated during plenary on Wednesday.
Many communities, towns and regions of the state had rejected the creation and the site of the LCDAs.
“I want to tell you that I am back, and I will resume work immediately. This is my letter of resumption,” he said.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has officially written the state’s House of Assembly, stating his resumption from medical vacation.
