Mr Lawal said the defendant received an iPhone worth N110, 000, knowing that the phone was stolen.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Mr Lawal said that the defendants unlawfully belonged to a secret society called ‘Eiye confraternity.’
The magistrate ordered that the 14-day community service should be done between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and noon until completion.
Mr Lawal told the court that the defendant committed the offence on January 3 at about 2.00 p.m., at Chimero Farm, Olubi village, Ibadan.
The magistrate did not take the plea of the defendants for want of jurisdiction.
Mojeed Yusuf, 69, on Thursday, appeared before the Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court Ibadan, charged with assaulting a landowner.
The prosecutor said the offences contravened Sections 517 and 390(9) of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The magistrate directed the police to return the case file to the Director of Public Prosecution for legal advice.
