The police commissioner, Olohundare Jimoh, gave the assurance during the ‘show of force’ by the command on Monday in Ikeja.
She said that the recovery took place on October 5 at about 5:30 a.m. near Allen roundabouts in Ikeja.
She said the suspects were apprehended at about 5:30 a.m. on Monday.
Mr Jimoh condemned the unprofessional conduct seen in the Alakuko video.
She said the investigation revealed that the gang members come from Mushin to carry out their criminal activities in Ikeja.
The CP also frowned at unprofessional practices, including name-calling and intimidation of youths
Mr Babaseyi said operatives recovered from the suspect a Mercedes Benz car jack and a face cap with the inscription ‘Special Force.’
Mr Jimoh reiterated the police command’s commitment to tackling femicide as part of its broader crime prevention strategy.
