The LAMATA MD, Abimbola Akinajo, said the timetables are available on the company’s website.
The airline confirmed that compensation would be offered to passengers.
The main entrance of the airport was under lock and key, while no vehicular movement was allowed into the airport premises.
The state governor, Bassey Otu, said the planned rail line would help to ease the transportation challenges in the state.
“The bus was designed to carry 14 passengers, but was loaded with 20 passengers,’’ he noted.
“We have made a request to the federal government to draft more troops to the Uyanga forest as well as the deployment of Super Tucano aircraft.”
A witness account revealed that bullets hit some passengers as the gunmen fired at vehicles.
Those onboard were said to be mostly women and children, although the actual number of passengers could not be immediately ascertained.
