Mr Doherty assured the committee members that the party would not abandon them after the congresses.

“This new year must not be another chapter of broken promises, but a turning point marked by decisive and people-centred governance,” stated PDP.
The lawmaker cited internal conflict and a lack of clear direction from the PDP leadership as reasons for his defection.
Mr Ememobong said the news of the explosion served as another sad reminder of the rising insecurity facing Nigerians.
Mr Ohuabunwa said that the party’s national leadership was ready to work collaboratively with the state chapters to bring fresh leadership and stability across the country.
