Mr Lamido also described Mr Obi’s presidential ambition as a “social media thing.”

On Friday, Mr Baba-Ahmed was announced Vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party to run with former Anambra governor Peter Obi.
He said that the coalition and LP were planning to counter all electoral manipulations and violence in 2023 that could throw up bad leaders.
“The undeniable, unchallengeable fundamental reason for being on this ticket is to rescue Nigeria,” Mr Baba-Ahmed said.
Mr Baba-Ahmed, the proprietor of Baze University, was unveiled at a news conference in Abuja on Friday.
The ceremony is billed to be held at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, by 10:00 a.m., The Gazette learnt.
Mr Obi is expected to announce a northern Muslim as his running mate shortly.
