“Obi failed in providing leadership for the party. He should own up to his mistakes,” said the Labour Party.
Mr Obi described Nigeria as a crime which must be urgently dismantled.
The presidential spokesperson said the former Anambra governor agreed with Mr Tinubu’s policies.
Mr Obi questioned Mr Tinubu’s prioritisation of road projects over the security of life and property in the country.
Mr Fasua dismissed former Anambra governor and 2023 presidential candidate Peter Obi’s old criticism of Mr Tinubu’s shady identity as “irrelevant.”
Asked why he has not been able to resolve the crisis in his party, Mr Obi blamed the political crisis in LP on Mr Tinubu-led government.
According to him, the get-rich-quick syndrome was counterproductive in society.
Mr Obi defected to LP to achieve his presidential ambition in 2023.Â
He appreciated the opposition leader for his kindness and support.
“We need justice, not excuses. We as leaders must value human life and will defend it with everything we have,” stated Mr Obi.
