“I don’t have any information on that incident that happened six years ago. I do not,” said a spokesman for the police.
The command said in a statement that the 22-year-old suspect, who was on his way to Anambra from Lagos, was nabbed along the Benin-Lagos Expressway on April 7, 2024.
According to him, police operatives immediately traced the criminals and arrested them at their hideout in Karmo area of the FCT.
The salesgirl pleaded not guilty to the charges.
They urged security agencies and the FCT Administration to take urgent measures to save residents from the criminals.
