The Delta government, on Monday, reaffirmed its commitment to infrastructure development across the state.

Giving a breakdown of the ministry’s activities, Izeze said that between May 29, 2023 and October 30, the ministry supervised 351 projects across all 25 LGAs.
The Orere Bridge, when completed, would connect more than 30 communities in the Ughelli South and Bomadi local governments.
Mr Izeze expressed optimism that the project would be ready for inauguration by December, under the governor.
The commissioner said that the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori-led administration had stated several times that it had zero tolerance for shoddy jobs.
The commissioner also said the ministry proposes N150 billion for capital expenditure in 2024.
He assured Delta people of regular visits to road project sites for on-the-spot assessment of the work progress.
