The flyover, to be located on Oba Adesida Road, will stretch from Adegbola Junction to St. Mattias/NNPC Filling Station at Alagbaka.
It was learnt that the student, Audi Emmanuel, a Computer Engineering student at the institution, hanged himself.
The rector said the appeal was necessary to show gratitude to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for “rescuing the institution from the bottomless pit of hopelessness.”
The spokesperson said the suspect is currently in custody and giving out useful information.
The governor, at the event, ordered the payment of three months’ salaries to the institution’s staff.
