Omowumi also alleged that Aloba had a cordial relationship with the suspects’ lawyer, Odumosu, who had been coaching them on what to say.
He revealed that although they had disagreements, he and Mohbad had settled their issues.
“Naira Marley and Sammy Larry, having met their bail conditions, have been released from custody,’’ Mr Hundeyin stated.
No date has been fixed for hearing in the application.
Justice Nicholas Oweibo adjourned the case following the defendant’s absence from court.
The letter officially summoned Naira Marley and Mohbad’s legal team to a meeting on October 31.
Feyisayo Ogedengbe has emerged as a prime suspect in the case, accused of administering injections that led to an adverse reaction in Mohbad.
The police said the auxiliary nurse administered multiple highly potent injections, which triggered an immediate adverse reaction resulting in Mohbad’s death.
“I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria, to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation,” Naira Marley said.
