The party chieftain described the recent endorsement of Mr Tinubu for a second term by Igbo leaders in the APC as a testament to the president’s exemplary leadership.
“Interesting, nobody has gone in search of fuel with jerrycans throughout this festive period,” said Mr Onuigbo. “So, I’m convinced that he will be reelected.”
Mr Onuigbo said that without proper negotiation and consultation, the best interests of the Igbo people in Nigeria’s political space would not be maximally served.
A former lawmaker representing Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency in Abia, Sam Onuigbo, says President Bola Tinubu deserves a second term in office.
He said Mr Tinubu’s payoff of the IMF loan was a testament to his achievement in stabilising Nigeria’s economy.
Mr Onuigbo said the project was later approved for funding by NNPCL through the Road Tax Credit Scheme following his concerted efforts.
Mr Onuigbo said the move was an indication that APC was not selective in the infrastructure development of the country.
