“We all know the security challenges in Nigeria today, which are affecting everybody, and FRSC is no exception,” the sector commander said.
Mr Ibitoye said, “A total of 28 persons were burnt beyond recognition while two others died while being taken to the hospital for treatment.’’
He, therefore, advised drivers to exercise patience on the roads and passionately maintain their vehicles.
He, however, urged drivers not to see FRSC personnel as their enemies.
The Federal Road Safety Corps says 16 people were burned to death and five injured in a road accident on Tuesday night.
