SEMA said Fulani militants had destroyed roads and bridges in parts of the state, so as to prevent security agencies from accessing remote areas to contain attacks.
The Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria is the claimant in the case, HPPS Multilinks Services Ltd and the Benue government are first and second respondents.
“What is more, some of the signatories had left the service or were ‘unknown’, and so no one had access to the funds,” it stated.
The governor appealed to Jos DisCo to assist residents of Benue with transformers and focus less on collecting bills.
