Governor Abba Yusuf has directed political appointees interested in contesting the 2027 elections to resign, citing the electoral act.
Governor Abba Yusuf has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s approval of the ₦334 billion Kano-Kongolom road project, calling it a “historic breakthrough”.

Worth N2.3 billion, the initiative aims to combat poverty and promote economic self-reliance, according to a statement by the governor’s spokesperson.
Mr Dawakin-Tofa said that the computer-based test and information and communication technology centres would cost N309 million.
