The judge, Kabir Muhammad, made the order after dissolving the one-year marriage between Mr Ibrahim and Ms Hauwa’u by way of khul’i (redemption).
The judge held that Usman should pay N150,000 compensation to the mosque committee.
The defendant denied the accusation.
In her submission, the complaint told the court that she was a divorcee and prayed the court to confirm her right to choose a spouse.
The complainant prayed the court to dissolve her union with Mr Ilani, saying he accused her of cheating in the presence of their children.
The judge said that there was no marriage between him and her ex-wife because of the divorce.
Mr Ghali told the court that he left the house because of the present economic hardship.
