“We did not hesitate to implement the agreed terms in good faith, including welcoming back commissioners who had previously resigned on their own volition,” said Mr Fubara.
“A declaration of emergency does not automatically dissolve or suspend elected state governments,” said NBA in a statement on Tuesday night.
To ensure the successful impeachment of Mr Fubara, the lawmakers loyal to Mr Wike are seeking to discredit Mr Amadi, directing the SSS to investigate his age.
He condemned the act of proliferation of illegal dumpsites as well as shanties in business areas.

Mr Fubara said the decision resulted from the burning of the Assembly, which made the chamber unsafe and threatened the lives of the staff and lawmakers.
