The Press Secretary to the governor, Ibrahim Mohammed, said this in a statement on Thursday.
The Kano government has inaugurated a 12-member committee to recover over ₦1.8 billion illegally deducted from civil servants’ salaries by alleged loan vendors.
The secretary to the state government, Umar Faruq-Ibrahim, at the inauguration, said the committee would ensure accurate dissemination of information.
“Government appointees intending to contest in the 2027 general elections must resign their appointments on or before Friday,” he added.
The meeting focused on reviewing Plateau’s security situation over the last few days.
Mr Hamza said that serving in the Kaduna government under Mr Sani was like going through ‘’a school of leadership training and service delivery to the people.’’
Mr Doguwa said public service gave him valuable experience and he would continue serving.
