The state police spokesperson reaffirmed the command’s commitment to upholding traffic regulations for public safety across the state.
The Nigeria Union of Teachers in Ebonyi has directed its members in seven LGAs where months of salary areas are owed to embark on an indefinite strike.
Mr Osifeso said that police personnel had been deployed in the area to maintain law and order.
Mr Igwe said that the crash occurred on Wednesday at about 2 p.m. on Amasiri-Okigwe Road, Amenu village in Okposi, Ohaozara Local Government Area of the state.
He called on the public to report any suspicious movement around them.
He underscored the importance of collaboration between government and security institutions.
He said, “The increase in fatalities and crashes within the ember months is a result of human lawlessness.’’
Mr Okoye noted that the hoax caused significant distress to Mr Chidebere’s family and the university community.
“Therefore, organising free, fair, and credible elections will be a mirage,” he said.
She added that the victims were rescued and are currently in the hospital facility where they are receiving treatment.
