The police arrested the suspects on Sunday following information provided by a concerned member of the Ilu-Abo community.
The police command in Ondo says a coordinated inter-agency raid on Sunday led to the arrest of 99 suspects involved in various criminal activities across the state.
Mr Lawan said the screening would hold from March 9 to April 18.
Abayomi Jimoh, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed this in a statement on Thursday, saying the attack occurred at about 8:45 p.m. along Oda Road.
The command urged residents to remain security conscious and promptly report suspicious persons or activities to the nearest police formation.
SP Suleiman Nguroje, the command’s spokesperson, said in a statement on Tuesday that two others were also arrested.
Mr Olayinka stated that the suspects are cooperating with investigators and providing credible information.
The police command in Jigawa says it has inaugurated the Rapid Response Team to enhance security operations.
The police spokesperson encouraged the public to remain vigilant and continue to partner with the police by promptly reporting suspicious activities.
