Mr Oguwche said that over 60 suspected cases of the virus were reported in the state so far.
Mr Adigun said there had not been an increase in the number of recorded people infected with the virus nowadays because people were no longer coming out for tests.
Ondo, Edo and Bauchi recorded 70 per cent of the 909 confirmed cases and 170 deaths from Lassa fever cases.
The total number of confirmed cases of monkeypox in the country had also risen to 241.
While Bauchi reported two new fatalities, Ebonyi recorded one new death from the disease.
So far, 207,114 victims have been successfully treated and discharged from hospitals.
Anambra had 18 infections, the FCT 15 infections, and Lagos had 9, while Bauchi, Rivers and Kano states had an infection each.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has registered 30 additional COVID-19 infections, with Abia recording nine cases on Monday.
According to the NCDC data, Nigeria’s fatality toll from the virus now stands at 2,856 as of October 23.
The NCDC said that the country’s active cases stood at 9,164 as of October 22.
