The Federal Road Safety Corps confirmed two fatalities in a road traffic crash along the Kaduna western bypass.
FRSC says it recorded a 38.9 per cent reduction in auto crashes on the major roads of Zamfara in 2025.

Mr Ogungbemide said that 31 people were involved in the crash, while 10 were rescued with varying degrees of injury and three rescued unharmed.
Mr Kaura attributed the accident to suspected brake failure.
“The corps would be visiting churches on Sundays and mosques on Fridays.’’
“When you are driving, you should know that you are the only sane person on the road,” said an FRSC sector commander.
The corps said safe and timely delivery of election materials was imperative to free, fair and credible elections in the country.
