The NDLEA intercepted large consignments of illicit drugs in Kano, Kwara, Delta, Gombe, Lagos, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
He said 46 capsules of Tramadol, 12 wraps of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, and two D5 tablets were recovered from the suspects.
Two Mercedes-Benz buses and various designer sachets used for packaging drugs for retail distribution were also recovered.
He said two suspected members of a drug cartel were arrested in connection with the seizure.
The NDLEA chairman commended the Nigerian judiciary for its steadfast support.
The NDLEA spokesman said a female suspect was arrested on Friday, January 23, in Mokwa, Niger State, in a follow-up operation by operatives.
Mr Ahamefule said the various drugs seized include cannabis sativa, heroin, methamphetamine, tramadol, diazepam, and psychotropic substances.
In Anambra State, a couple was arrested during a raid operation at Obosi, where 13.9kg Methamphetamine and 5.3kg skunk were recovered from them.
Mr Babandede reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to public health and safety.
Mr Babafemi said no fewer than 250,000 tablets of Exol-5 were seized from a suspect in the Zango area of the Ungogo Local Government Area of Kano.
