Eight out of the 29 ships will discharge petrol, diesel, bulk gas and aviation fuel.
Mr Akinwande said, “The agency’s officers swiftly swung into action and curtailed the fire from spreading to the truck loaded with grains.’’
“Utilising natural gas to power Nigeria’s transportation industry is the next way to go,” he stated.
“As of Saturday afternoon, NNPC Ltd. had deployed more than 100 trucks, with hundreds more en route,” the company said.
“Do not overload your water trucks with goods and passengers; it is dangerous,” he advised.
Some members who were against military intervention highlighted the economic woes that the people of Niger could experience if invaded.
Mr Toriola said the warning became necessary following the recent truck accidents in the Ojuelegba and Ikotun areas.

25 ships are already discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, container, bulk salt, butane gas, bulk fertilizer,trucks, frozen fish, fuel and sugar.
The NPA said it was expecting another 24 ships carrying food commodities and fuels.
