The Nigerian Defence Academy on Thursday announced plans to conduct a live firing exercise for cadets of the 76 Regular Course.
“We are happy that our trucks, which were trapped for months, can now move freely through Nigeria to their destinations,” said a Nigerien official.
Mr Kovangiya stated, “The NDA assures the public that all necessary safety measures had been emplaced for the successful conduct of the exercise
He reaffirmed the service’s commitment to the rehabilitation and reformation of inmates.
“The general public is advised to avoid trespassing in the general area throughout the period of the exercise.’’

He disclosed that the exercises were scheduled for November 20 and 30 at NDA Open Range Afaka.
Ms Onah said the exercise is expected to hold from Sept. 6 to Sept. 8.
He disclosed that the exercise was expected to begin from June 19 to 22.
“Residents of the area not to panic on hearing gunshot sounds during the period of the exercise.”
