Mr Ododo is anticipated to take the oath of office in early 2024.
He said the APC was aware of intense pressure, including violent threats on INEC staff by trailing opposition parties to disrupt the collation of results.
But in other parts of the district, voters complained about widespread violence and vote-rigging, forcing the electoral office INEC to cancel votes at some polling stations.
Mr Bello cast his vote at polling unit 011, Agassa, Okene LGA, Kogi.

The race has been seen as a three-horse exercise between Usman Ododo of the ruling APC, Dino Melaye of the main opposition PDP, and Murtala Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party.
