Teenager gets N100,000 bail for allegedly fighting in public

An Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Tuesday granted bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties to one 18-year-old Samuel Akinsola, who allegedly fought with two others in public.
The police had charged Mr Akinsola, whose address was not provided, on one court.
He, however, pleaded not guilty.
According to the prosecutor, Adegoke Adegbenro, the teenager committed the offence on February 2, about 10.30 p.m., at Moniya, Ibadan.
Mr Adegbenro said that fight contravened Section 83 of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The magistrate, Olasinmibo Sanusi-Zubair, adjourned the case until March 11 for substantive hearing.
