Tinubu @74: Alake extols president’s transformative leadership

The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, has showered encomiums on President Bola Tinubu in a special message to felicitate on his birthday on Sunday in Abuja.
The minister, in a goodwill message to mark the president’s 74th birthday, said Mr Tinubu had demonstrated exemplary leadership, particularly during the struggle to uphold the annulled June 12, 1993, election.
“From your pivotal role in the struggle for the actualisation of the annulled June 12, 1993 elections, to your transformative tenure as governor of Lagos State, to galvanising the first successful merger of opposition parties in our nation’s history.
“Now, as president, you are spearheading a renaissance, silently leading reforms, quite unprecedented in our nation’s history.
“When the story of Nigeria’s democratic evolution is told, your name will stand etched as an indelible part of it, your footprints firmly engraved on the sands of time,” he said.
He prayed for God’s guidance and wisdom for the president as he carries out his duties to lead the country in the right direction.
