Tinubu is true Nigerian leader, says Governor Bago

Governor Mohammed Umar-Bago has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his second year in office, describing him as a true leader.
In a message by his chief press secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, on Thursday, the governor said the two years of Mr Tinubu’s leadership were marked by determination, policy reforms, and renewed drive for national development.
He said the president’s steadfast commitment to the ideals of democracy, inclusive development, and bold steps in governance has repositioned the nation and placed it on an upward trajectory.
The Niger governor noted that Nigeria had witnessed a renewed focus on economic revitalisation, infrastructural development, social investment and strengthening of institutions.
He maintained that the president’s distinctive and visionary leadership had continued to inspire and endear him to many, regardless of their political differences.
While the governor acknowledged that challenges would not cease completely, he said the significant milestone the Tinubu-led administration had made was worthy of celebration.
He reaffirmed the continued support of the government and people of Niger for the realisation of the president’s renewed hope agenda, which he said was aimed at transforming the nation.
“I wish President Tinubu more strength, wisdom, and success as he continues with the service of making Nigeria greater,” he said.
