Tinubu returns to Abuja After Eid-el-Fitr celebrations in Lagos

President Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, departed Lagos for Abuja after marking the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
The presidential aircraft took off from the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport at about 6:44 p.m.
The president was seen off by top government officials, including Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, and top APC stalwarts.
During his stay in Lagos, Mr Tinubu observed the Eid prayers at Dodan Barracks and hosted a cross-section of political and economic leaders.
Among those received were Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas.
Also in attendance were several state governors and key political stakeholders from across the country.
Leading figures from the private sector, including Aliko Dangote, were also present during the engagements.
Members of the diplomatic corps, including a delegation from the European Union, as well as stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress (APC), attended the meetings.
The engagements were part of ongoing efforts to strengthen national cohesion and foster collaboration across political and economic lines.
