Tinubu returns to Abuja after visits to Saint Lucia, Brazil

President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja late Saturday after official visits to Saint Lucia and Brazil.
His aircraft landed at the Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 1:30 a.m. (Sunday).
He was received by top government officials, including the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu, and Minister of State Defence, Bello Matawalle.
Others at the airport included National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Ibrahim Masari, and Aliyu Wamakko.
Mr Tinubu departed Abuja on June 28 for diplomatic engagements in the Caribbean and South America.
His first stop was Saint Lucia, aimed at strengthening ties with Caribbean nations and enhancing South-South cooperation.
From Saint Lucia, Mr Tinubu proceeded to Brazil to attend the 2025 BRICS Summit, held July 6-7.
On the sidelines, he held bilateral talks with Brazilian President Lula da Silva.
Their discussions centred on expanding trade, financing infrastructure, and fostering deeper cultural collaboration.
