Tinubu seeks Senate confirmation of seven ministerial nominees

President Bola Tinubu has urged the Senate to confirm the nomination of seven ministerial nominees for appointment as ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Mr Tinubu’s request is contained in a letter addressed to President of Senate, Godswill Akpabio, and read at plenary on Thursday.

Mr Tinubu, in the letter, listed the nominees to include: Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, Muhammadu Dingyadi, Bianca Odumegu-Ojukwu, Dr Jumoke Oduwole, Mukhtar Maiha, Yusuf Abdullahi Ata and Dr Suwaiba Ahmad.

Mr Akpabio, thereafter, referred the request to the committee of the whole for expeditious consideration.
