Tinubu’s New Year nationwide address holds Monday
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make a New Year’s Day broadcast on Monday, January 1, 2024, at 7 am.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.
Mr Ngelale called on television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets to hook up to the network services of the Nigeria Television Authority and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria for the broadcast.
The statement read, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make a New Year’s Day broadcast to the nation on Monday, January 1, 2024, at 7 am. Television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigeria Television Authority and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria for the broadcast.’’
Tinubu’s nationwide address comes against the backdrop of rising insecurity and harsh economic situation in the country. The President’s broadcast is expected to contain measures being taken by his administration to improve the situation.
