Tinubu’s spokesman Ngelale proceeds on indefinite leave, cites health concerns

Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action and Chairman, Presidential Steering Committee on Project Evergreen, Ajuri Ngelale, resigned from his positions on Friday.
Mr Ngelale, in a statement released to State House correspondents, said he submitted a memo to the Chief of Staff to the President indicating that he was proceeding on an indefinite leave of absence.
He said this was to enable him deal with medical matters presently affecting his family.
He said the decision was taken after consultations with his family over the past several days, “as a vexatious medical situation has worsened at home.
Mr Ngelale stated, “I look forward to returning to full-time national service when time, healing and fate permit. I respectfully ask for some privacy for my family and I during this time.”
