A magistrate court in Jos on Tuesday sentenced a 27-year-old miner, Ibrahim Kamilu, to two years in prison for cheating.
“The ‘Early Years- agenda must reflect our realities and support our frontline workers,” said the governors.
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) says it recorded 1,068 complaints in Plateau between January and October.
Abah Moro, the chairman of the committee, said that the public hearing was organised in tandem with the legislative agenda of the 10th Senate.
Mr Peter called on Plateau women to channel their energies towards promoting peace and seeking solutions to the challenges facing their fellow women in the state.

Mr Mufwang said this on Tuesday night, shortly after inspecting facilities at the Ten Commandment Prayer ground in Du, Jos South LGA, the venue of the event.
Lagos and Abuja may still be the heart of big concerts and celebrity moments, but a couple of other places offer their own charms.
“The command has taken security matters very seriously and has put measures in place to ensure the safety of lives and property in the state,” the police commissioner said.
The lawmaker said thorough scrutiny was necessary to ensure transparency, fiscal discipline, and alignment with the state’s development priorities.
