The attack came barely 24 hours after the abduction of the wife and daughter of the commissioner for the environment.
The bandits invaded Kukawa, Kyaram, Gyambau and Dungur, among other communities of the locality, killed some persons, and destroyed properties.
The victims were abducted in the early hours of Saturday at the commissioner’s residence.
