The group is planning another round of evacuation on August 21 for Abuja indigenes schooling in Jos.
The university management said since the 24-hour curfew in the state was relaxed, there have been intensified killings of its students.
The police confirmed the development but declined further details.
“Members of the public are advised to disregard any rumour of review of the current curfew,” Plateau commissioner for information said.
Mr Lalong said use of hard drugs was aggravating security challenges in the state, urging elders not to relent in advising them against such lifestyle.
Mr Pantami said after speaking with top military chiefs on the matter, the president directed that the perpetrators be prosecuted.
Exams were scheduled to commence on Monday August 16.
The 24 hour curfew in Jos North Local Government will remain in force until further notice.
The Plateau CAN chairman condemned recent attacks in Bassa, Riyom, Jos South and Barkin Ladi Local Government Areas.
The president said the attack was on members of a community exercising their rights to travel freely and to follow the faith of their choosing.
