Terrorists invaded the Ahoro-Esin-Ile and Yawota communities in the Oriire local council, kidnapping 39 pupils and seven staffers on May 15.
“We have taken these concerns seriously and immediately engaged the relevant security agencies,” said the Ibeju-Lekki council chairman.
He said the state was committed to delivering strategic transport infrastructure.
The guest speaker, Segun Adewunmi, urged youths to rise above negative influences and become builders of society.
He said the drugs were mainly ketamine, weighing three kilograms and 199 grams of ecstasy pills.
They attributed worsening flooding in parts of the state to unchecked wetland encroachment and poor urban planning.
The commissioner described MMIA as Nigeria’s most important point of entry.
The candidates also pledged to work diligently in their constituencies and sustain public support for the APC.
The group said the PDP faction, backed by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesome Wike, lacked the authority to suspend members in the state.
He urged personnel to ensure the prudent use of electricity and public assets.
