The police command in Rivers has arrested three suspects in connection with the kidnapping of one Humphrey Wagbara.
He said reconciliation was embraced in the best interest of Rivers’ people and for the progress of the state.

Mr Marwa said Mr Uzoma, who resumed in Cross River on August 18, 2025, had lodged in a hotel while seeking suitable accommodation.
Speaker Martins Amaewhule, who presided over the session, noted that members were committed to bridging the gaps.

The Rivers State Elders Council has urged political stakeholders to embrace peace and unity as democratic governance returns to the state.
President Bola Tinubu, on March 18, declared a state of emergency in Rivers due to a heightened political crisis.
