He said the democratic model adopted by African countries lacked sufficient African context and often failed to meet the continent’s needs.
Mr Salifu said youths had been systematically excluded, directly or indirectly, from meaningful participation in the democratic process and governance.
“Coming from a serving member of the National Assembly who swore to uphold the constitution, we feel compelled to demand the arrest of senator Fadahunsi,” the group said.
“This is a serious threat to lives and the peaceful conduct of the August 15 election,” Mr Olajengbesi stated.
Fifteen thousand police operatives would be deployed for the August 15 election. An additional 10,000 NSCDC officers would be on the ground.
“Politically speaking, they (Adeleke and Oyebamiji) are my juniors in politics. Forget about the party they all belong to,” said Mr Salaam.
