The Labour Party’s 2023 governorship candidate in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has dumped the party for the African Democratic Congress in 2027.
Mr Sulaiman-Dungurawa described the lawmaker as a “weak politician.”
He disclosed that the party would soon commence nationwide registration of new members.
He described the campaign launch as a clear sign of total victory for the party.
He reiterated Oke-Ogun’s resolve to support any political party that selects its candidate from the zone.
The meeting which began at about 10:00 a.m. ended at about 3:00 p.m.
The Lagos House of Assembly says the 10th annual stakeholders’ meeting, slated for Thursday, will strengthen the bond between the state government and its residents.
“Your PVC is your power. The road to a better tomorrow begins with CVR registration,” the council chair said.
His comments followed Mr El-Rufai’s recent statement that he had no regrets about his actions in office.
The senator representing Nasarawa West senatorial zone, Ahmed Wadada, has returned to the All Progressives Congress after dumping the Social Democratic Party.
