Traumatised Qdot shares CCTV footage of armed robbers at Ajah home one year after attack
Nigerian musician, Qudus Fakoya Olatunji, aka Qdot, has recalled how armed robbers stormed his Ajah home in Lagos and held him at gunpoint.
The singer shared CCTV footage of the robbery on his Instagram page on Monday. The Armed robbery took place on September 28, 2025.
He said, “One year today… and I’m still here. They took things that mattered. But they left what matters most, my life. And for that, I thank God above everything else. And if you sabi them y abeg help me thank them for sparing my life. No loss compares to the gift of waking up today. Nigeria will always be my father’s land… BUT.”
According to him, the robbers broke into his home around 2:30 a.m., carting away his valuables, including phones, laptops and money.
In a post on X, he said, “Even though September 28 has passed, the trauma is still with me. I wake up every night at 2:30 a.m. in fear and can no longer sleep peacefully. I pray for healing and peace, and for stronger government action so this suffering can finally end.”
