A mixer truck has crushed a woman to death in the Abule-Egba area of Lagos on Monday afternoon.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority disclosed this on its official X handle, with two attached pictures of the truck on the victim.

According to the agency, the fatal accident was caused by the truck’s brake failure, which caused it to swerve into the drainage near the Jubilee Bridge.

“All relevant agencies, including LASTMA, are fully on ground, and necessary action has been taken.

“Our men are also managing the traffic situation effectively,” the agency added.
