U.S.-Iran talks may resume in Pakistan: Sources
Peace talks between Iran and the United States could resume in Pakistan, with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi expected to arrive in Islamabad on Friday, according to three Pakistani sources.
Two sources from the Pakistani government said a U.S. logistics and security team was already in place for potential talks.
Washington and Tehran offered no immediate response to the report.
The last round of peace talks scheduled for Tuesday did not take place, as Iran said it was not yet ready to confirm participation.
Meanwhile, a U.S. delegation led by Vice President JD Vance remained in Washington and did not depart for the talks.
