Gannett, the largest newspaper chain in the U.S., has put out a vacancy to hire two reporters: one to cover Taylor Swift and the other to cover Beyoncé.

Beyoncé and Taylor Swift are American pop stars.

Beyoncé has won about 32 Grammy awards while Swift has 12.

According to a report by the Irish Examiner on Thursday, Gannett, which owns more than 200 daily newspapers, will employ the new reporters through USA Today and The Tennessean, the company’s Nashville-based newspaper.

The company stated that it was looking for journalists who can document Beyoncé’s influence on culture and the fields in which she works.

Michael Anastasi, editor of the Tennessean and vice-president of local news at Gannett, said the chain was looking for “modern storytellers” skilled in print, audio, and visual journalism.

“Seeing both the facts and the fury, the Taylor Swift reporter will identify why the pop star’s influence only expands, what her fanbase stands for in pop culture, and the effect she has across the music and business worlds,” the company said in its job description.

For the Beyoncé role, the reporter is required be proficient with text and video and must be able to capture the record-breaking Grammy recipient’s impact on society.

Both jobs require five years of newsroom experience and the ability to travel internationally, with a salary range of $21.63 to $50.87 (£17.31 to £40.71) per hour.
