Veteran Nollywood actor Bruno Iwuoha dies at 68

He is survived by a wife and six children.

Bruno Iwuoha, a veteran Nollywood actor, is dead.

Peoples Gazette learnt the veteran actor died on Saturday aged 68 after a prolonged battle with diabetics.

President Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ejezie Emeka Rollas, has sympathised with the deceased family on behalf of members of the guild, praying for God’s comfort at this moment of grief.

“It is on a sad note that we announce the passing away of our elder colleague and active member of AGN Abuja, Bruno Obinna Iwuoha,” Monalisa Chinda, communication director said in a statement.

Media reports say the actor has been suffering from glaucoma that caused him blindness and has been in a coma for weeks.

Late Iwuoha has been in the movie industry for decades, an AMA awards recipient, known for playing innocent roles in movies. He has featured in numerous movies such as the Occultic Battle, Fire on the Mountain 2, Royal Promise, and The Cross of Love, among others.

He was recently gifted a car by one of the popular Nigerian pastors, Joshua Iginla.

The Gazette learnt Iwuoha hailed from Umunumo Umuanunu in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo state. He is survived by a wife and six children.
