A member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, identified as Olusola Olonode, on Friday testified about how she gave birth to quadruplets at the age of 50, two years after her marriage in December 2023.

Testifying during the September 2026 monthly Holy Ghost Service, Mrs Olonode said she got pregnant around August 2025. Doctors initially saw two babies in her womb, but during subsequent visits, she was told the number had increased to four.

Mrs Olonode said, “December 2023, I was divinely promoted from being a Miss, to a Mrs, at the age of 48. Last year convention, I took it. Around September, I went for a scan, and the doctor said, ‘I think I can see twins’. I said that’s not bad, even if it is one, at least, they will stop calling me Mummy Shola.

“I had to go for another scan a month after, I met another doctor but the same hospital. He said I think I’m seeing three. I said three? Three what? He said three babies. I said okay, that’s fine.

“Before the next scan, I had a crisis, I was bleeding, so I had to go again for another scan, and I met the same doctor. He said how many did I tell you the last time? I said you said three. I thought maybe the blood I saw, maybe one is gone. He said I think I’m seeing four. I said four? He spelt it, four.”

Showing the babies to the congregation, Mrs Olonode, while appreciating God for the safe delivery, said the quadruplets consist of two boys and two girls.
